hi if you got to the end? but personally, I think the beauty isn't in the lyrics. Mitski can spit true, unparalleled bars but she doesn't. Mitski uses simple words, simple and true words to convey feelings that really don't have words. Mitski sings to the listeners as if they are children. It's not the lyrics but rather, it's the way she enunciates certain words. GOD. you think crack baby would sound the same if she didn't stretch the word crack out a bit when she says the word? NO. but she did, and that's why it's stuck in my head.
