Mothers
I love how I'm doing this the day before fathers day.
Do anyone else moms like have a completely different style than you but wants you to have the same style as them?
(I just wanted to talk about how I felt lol there is no need to read the stuff below!)
☆Short ver:
My mom brought a one piece swimsuit which was more her style than mine and the sides were showing, and although I said I wad uncomfortable, it was just not my style at all.
☆Long ver:
I say I have a more androgynous/masculine casual style when it comes to clothes while my mom is more carefree and feminine and somewhat revealing ??? I have a non identical twin sister and since we were born she's been dressing us up exactly the same for years in like cute frilly dresses, more feminine clothes, not really skirts tho lol. Even though I told her I don't rly like wearing the same stuff as my twin and she said okay, I guess it slipped out of her head or something. So rly recently my mom bought me and my sister a sweater which was rly cute and 2 of the exact same swim suits which was bright pink and orrange leaves and a bright white background. It was a one piece but kinda had like the sides showing and I told her I felt uncomfortable. Then she went on on how I should show more skin Yada Yada. I wish I told her I just didn't like hoe it looked at all but I feel bad ad she seemed really hurt, and even said she'll return it. Ngl I felt rly ungrateful.
I relate. I'm butch and I want to dress in a masculine/androgynous way only, but my mother forces femininity on me by making me wear a hijab which is so frustrating

If You really feel uncomfortable and it s not your style i Say that You shouldn t blame yourself. Just talk to her again (maybe) and make IT clear that You didn t want to hurt her feelings and that You are sorry If You did. Maybe next tine You could go with her and show her what You like.
Anyway, have a good day!( ╹▽╹ )

I don't have the brainpower to think about this ngl like I just toss some clothes on and get going.
If my mum wants to dress me up I'm not going to let her not do so... even if it makes me a little uncomfortable because idk I don't see the point in thinking that much about clothes of all things...
