Same, a few years ago i realised i mostly found them annoying.
Most yaoi is only porn, there's no plot whatsoever. That's what bothered me.
But there are a lot of shonen ai and a few yaoi mangas with good storylines. Sometimes, the plot isn't quite developped enough but I still like it if there are fantasy elements that i find interesting.
