Stupidest thing I have ever done

So when I was younger about 7 years old, I would usually go to our bathroom and pee obviously. Until one time I saw on a corner near the bathroom with a little bit of water in it. Their were these tiny wiggly thingies in it and to my curiosity I asked myself "How about I take care of these" me, a child, expecting that it would grow into some kind of magical being of some sort. So I waited a few days, checked on it to during the process and to my surprise they were gone. I thought they might have been grown up that i just didn't notice or escape or even died but, they were gone. Only the water was left. So i asked my mom if she knew what this wiggly thingies are on the water (because im so dumb and i didn't ask her before hand) and she just answer " Oh, those thing, there called mosquito larvae, as you would expect they turn into mosquitoes when they grow up " and I felt dumbfounded, i felt really stupid. That all along i was raising some fucking mosquitoes. Hahhh childhood days.
