There’s so many, but these here are ones I remember:
Hiruko from Yumekui Kenbun. He starts off as a supernatural being, but as the story goes on we find out he used to be human and it’s been a while since I read it, but I believe he was a slave or something. Long story short, he was tortured all through his life then he died.
