a million of secrets, you are not supposed to tell everything to your parents. and they are seriously better off not knowing some things. it's easy to confuse the desire to relieve your conscience with what's actually better for them. one secret is that I used to smoke for some time. I told dad but not mom, because she would feel horrible thinking......   reply

Might be saying too much here, and diving into personal bs but I really hate my parents. Both sets of them; as I'm adopted. (If you don't wanna read, then don't) I've always kept it a secret that I feel regarded as a mistake and a nuisance towards them, since my adoptive mother told me when I was around 12-ish that she only really wanted to ......   2 reply
