No, heterophobia is not real and straight people are not oppressed. I am straight and I am saying that. Laws and rules are formed with the assumption that heterosexuality is the majority. Both sides can be and/or are oppressed but one side is obviously more oppressed than the other. However, there were some times where some of my straight male friends were accused or labeled of being homophobic or transphobic both in real life and online, just because they said no when they were asked if they would date a gay or a trans person.
