As long as you know the difference between real life and fiction, it's fine to read literally anything in the romace genre. People hate it because gay men are fetishized so much, if you're not doing that then you're are just reading ur perference.   reply

Imo people are just overanalyzing it in fear that they'll appear disrespectful but as I perceive it BL is just romance that everyone is allowed to read without limit, literally just don't be a weirdo (an advice that applies to ALL fandoms) but I do get why it's a discourse for many but I don't think it should just be about BL but rather the romance......   reply

I mostly read BL, and so do a lot of my friends. I’ve always liked romance and BL just happens to have the most interesting plots. I don’t rly get what the hate towards ppl who read bl is. Like they’re just two characters, regardless of gender, who go through ups and downs, are we not allowed to enjoy that?   1 reply

I have my own little theories about this. I noticed that smut is something that is really weird. Like for example I prefer to read more BL smut than straight smut. Whenever I read straight smut I feel like something is missing that makes me care. And like I noticed that a lot of women (confirmed many times by friends and also online discussions, th......   2 reply
