i wish i was a man
whenever i go out i literally have to put on eyeliner, mascara, foundation, eyeshadow, blush, highlighter, lip tint and gloss, choose an outfit (cant be the same one as yesterday or the day before, cant be too slutty or modest), wear accessories, straighten my hair or do a curly routine (both of which will take over half an hour) and i still feel like im not pretty enough
men will literally put on an oversized shirt + cargo pants (bonus points if they brush their teeth and dont smell like rotten eggs) and ppl will declare them a fashion icon i literally cant rn
as you get older you wont care that much about what people think and start by appreciating the things you do or care about.
no one is forcing us to do all that make up (i do it cause i love experimenting with make up or because i wantt to look presentable, but its for me)
