Mangago ratings

Do you trust the ratings on Mangago? I typically tend to avoid reading anything less than 9.3 but considering how some bl full of rape is sometimes rated 9.4 it makes me question as to whether I’m missing out on good stories that have unfairly been rated lower. And I hate how people say this site is full of pedos and weirdos but I think to an extent it holds true(especially when it comes to rating). Yeah. Im just yapping now.

This depends on the genre so much. For BL? No, not rlly. But for shoujo romance fantasy isekai reincarnation manhwas? Generally yh I use it as a guide. Some rlly dodgy ones do slip through somehow and get rated 9.something (especially those fucking “raising the ML” grooming ahh stories that for some reason so many ppl defend to the death), but ...... 1 reply

I have read alot of stories with ratings below 9 or something and they genuinely are good. The low ratings is probably because either there's no drama or people don't like the art...but as long as it's readable and fun I just give it a go.And tbh after seeing the ratings of bj Alex and roses and champagne..it's more of a reason to avoid ratings reply

The fact that Roses and Champagne is rated 9.4 tells a lot about how people usually rate them. The story envolves so much violence and rape, it’s so disgusting i couldn’t finish it. I myself wonder why the majority of manhwa whose first chapter starts with SA have high ratings. And that's why I always read some of the comments first Some good manga actually have low ratings because the stories are shorter. reply

honestly it depends what you’re into bc sometimes some stories can be rated highly bc the relationship is healthy but I’ve noticed a lot of highly rated ones with SA because the story is “written well” so honestly I don’t trust the ratings and prefer just to look at the comments before I read bc they’re more reliable reply

Hell no, I don’t trust it at all I trust the comments more than ratings bc you’ll usually see people complaining. Literally legs that can’t walk or whatever is so ass imo, yet it has above a 9.0 1 reply
