Idk, it depends from person to person and how close you were to that person before breaking up. Did both feel unhappy? Was that feeling one sided? Was sudden or was it always expected? You kinda have to ask yourself a lot of questions on how it was and reflect on those final moments.

I think if you were really heartbroken about it, it’s gonna be tough and it’s gonna take time dealing with feeling of being alone. However, how you should move on? Personally, I think talking yourself about it and coming to terms about the relationship has ended and no longer exist. Or put more focus on other aspects of your life than what had happened in your relationship.

But once again it depends on person to person and it’s whatever process that helps you heal better. And I think after you heal, you can move on pretty quickly. Or something to that effect.
