Isn't it alright to use uke/seme in the correct setting? Like I'd never use them for real people etc. but in a yaoi mangas where a couple has their assigned roles in bed(bc let's be real switching is almost nonexistent in mangas sadly) then these are the terminologies that were crated to refer to them.
