Hello dear :) This is an interesting yet complex question. I'd write a whole thesis about it but I don't think it should be the case on Mangago. Anyways... As we all know, this debate over human nature has persisted for centuries, with thinkers and philosophers offering many perspectives. I'm disgustingly educated on this topics and have tons of b......   1 reply

I think we're born with no morals, meaning we dont label behavior or acts as good or bad. Like take a look at animals in nature, they kill which is something we consider bad but to them it's normal and crucial to survive.   reply

the argument that humans can be selfish by nature, can be said the same way that nobody is born naturally bad, your morals are developed and cultivated over time. literally hitler considered himself good so it just depends based on what you perceive and believe in lmao   2 reply

In my opinion, we're neither born naturally good or naturally bad. We're like an empty sheet of paper and it depends on the people we met, the experiences we had and the kind of environment we lived in if we're gonna lean on the good or bad side. When we were kids, we just mimic what we saw in our surroundings, so if all we saw is a bad example, ......   reply

This is just me but I think humans are innately good. There's obviously also the question about what good or bad even means, but that's its own discussion lol. So going with "good in the sense of helping the human species" I'd say yes. Pretty much any human is born with an innate drive to bring forward the human species. Wanting your family and fri......   reply

I'm curious what made you ask this question! It's a good question regardless and idk if you were able to find some enlightment in the comments (I hope so I've read really good things) but let me add my own two cents if it's okay. First of all we should differentiate between what is good and what is law. Law in a society is meant to maintain order ......   2 reply

I think there's an inherent or genetic part that plays an important role in how we perceive and process our world. Then comes environmental influences, people, experiences. I've seen extreme reactions to small problems, someone dealing bravely with severe environment problems, all kinds of reactions and views. Nature, nurture 50/50 and maybe one d......   reply

Genetics, environment factor etc can affect the behaviour of human. It's also nature vs nurture. It interesting of you put some people with same environment or even control the other factors the outcome of each person behaviour regarding the situation varies. Also human can adapt according to the situation. It's interesting as we evolve we construc......   reply
