I'm kinda scared if it, especially the incredibly realistic type cuz now they can make ai videos....so much shit could be made up about somebody

as an artist I don't feel threatened bc I know my value, it's laughable to think that I can be replaced by AI, it's ridiculous, and i hope soon other artists will realize their value too (guys you are irreplaceable!!). i think AI is a great invention but as we all know with great power comes great responsibility and humanity has to learn to use it ...... reply

It's cool, but also not cool.. Regarding the fact ai can now make videos, people are gonna use that to incriminate others, like imagine going to prison because someone faked a video of you doing crime? And AI "artists" are so shitty and annoying, someone posted a WIP of a painting online and an AI "artist" replied and boasted about how he just had...... 1 reply

I feel like my main issue with the whole ai discussion is when it comes to copyright and weather or not ai art falls under fair use. For example lets say i make a ai art generator specifically for pictures of moons and i used 500 pictures of moons and one of them was yours. If i started paying people for my ai moon pics would you deserve a cut of...... reply

This is a great conversation. For those who don't believe AI art should be called "art", one thing you can do to help change the discourse around it is to be **intentional** about NOT calling it art. Describe individual pieces as AI "design"/"drawing"/"painting"/"image" to deliberately not label it as art. When talking about it in a general sense, ...... reply

Scared for aspiring artists and animators. Might lose their job. I would probably steal the characters an ai shows me tho and make it my own because I technically can't get reported for copyright because it was made by AI. reply

This is like asking a monk in the dark age whose main job is to copy text his opinions about the printing press. Or a horse carriage driver about automobile. It's the future, get used to it. I use AI to generate pictures but I still commission artists on pixiv or skeb to draw. Theyre not mutually exclusive 4 reply

As an artist, i hate it with vitriol. I spit on it I know that AI art, if as a tool, would help artists greatly in the future but right now, it's gotten so out of hand due to how there's no laws/lack of laws to basically idk..prevent things like theft of artwork from artists who wants nothing to do with AI or the possibility of ai in general bein...... 1 reply
