When I'm down, it's more of a state of apathy and hopelessness. The pessimistic idea that despite wanting and craving change, it is the one thing I cannot achieve. I either put on some music, get bored of it and get a headache from the noise, or watch a film. Preferably a sad film, but seriously nothing is able to get these tears out. It used to feel a lot better when I could cry, it was relieving. But if that doesn't work then I just put on an uplifting song like Moment of Truth by Gang Starr and just start doing some pushups or dancing or something stupid. lol.
