some of my recent favs (I’m too lazy to get my big list of all-time favs rn):
1. Convenience store woman - Sayaka Murata. It touches on dark themes in a sort of comedic way. Honestly it gripped me I loved the writing so much.

first book that's ever made me actually shed tears and stare at my wall blankly for a couple hours. i will never tolerate hate against this book because it was actually so beautifully written and im forever in love with it reply

Extremely underated. If you loved omniscient reader's viewpoint, then you're gonna love this book.
