so, I have a high school friend who I love secretly, now we're in college on a different city. We not close when high school, just know each other name and face. But when we start college, he started to message me frequently and we're a good buddies.

Now I'm on my third year of college that means we already talked for 3 years and he's confessed to me recently. But I'm an overthinker. I'm afraid he just after my body because after he confessed his feelings, he tell me that he want to go on a date then hs.

Is it normal or I'm just overthinking everything???

In my opinion, if he was just after your body he would have asked you out after 3 weeks, not 3 years. You had the time to build a relationship and to get to know each other. Wait so he said he wanted to go on a date and then have s*x right after??? If you don’t want to risk it, I recommend trying to just have the date and if he keeps insisting then probably rethink going out with him.
