Honestly, wait. I know you'd prefer to live comfortably out but if your parents might have a bad reaction then you should wait. If you feel like you can ease them into changing their minds about the LGBTQ community then try but if they're stuck in their ways don't risk yourself. Definitely be careful, you're still financially dependent on them, given that they're so opposed to the LGBTQ community, it could put you at risk. You deserve to be accepted and to have your feelings respected, but, sadly, sometimes parents are too selfish to see beyond their own beliefs to put their child's happiness above it all.
