How do you relieve stress and anxiety?
Hey buds!! I’m really bad at dealing with stress and have really horrible anxiety. I get so paralyzed with fear doing the most basic things involving other people or work and I feel so stressed trying to do things that I just take sleeping pills so I don’t have to think about it or read manhua/hwa/ga or webtoons. Therapy was giving me nightmares because I was too paralyzed with anxiety to meet the goals they set even if I could’ve met them easily before they were made into goals so I had to take a break from therapy so I could get some sleep at least. I’m super pro therapy but I can recognize that it won’t be beneficial right now. I have heart problems so taking showers can be dangerous if my hearts already beating too fast from being anxious and (TMI) I’ve had problems with becoming addicted to porn in the past so masturbation for stress relief isn’t an option either. (I know most of y’all didn’t want to know that but if I didn’t say it all the answers would be masturbate). I know this isn’t the best place to ask for advice and I’m reaching out in other ways to try to help myself function but I thought why not ask the people of my favorite site what they do to relieve stress.
TLDR: showers, masturbating, reading, sleeping and therapy aren’t working right now what are other ways (no matter how funky) you relieve stress?
