gorgeous/interesting cover art will definitely intrigue me and make me click... but if the rating is below 8 and there are really strong warnings for rape, cheating etc, i probably won't read it.
if, however, the cover art is bad, it won't put me off reading a well regarded yaoi. a not so great cover and description can hide an amazing story.
