Yes I hate stories that market themselves as tropes because if you can so easily reduce it down to a specific trope with nothing different in your story, I don’t want it. Yes cuz it became redundant and very predictable as the time goes by to the point that just by reading the prologue or just by reading a couple of chapters, you can tell what's gonna happened.

Depends on the genre tbh. Like I eat up generic shounen stuff (isekai, towers, system, dungeon, etc.). I find it fun turning off my brain and just watching some op dude beat people up. Sometimes you can come across some actually good stuff too lol. I've definitely got issues with certain tropes (how female characters are written) but overall I just...... reply
