Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me. He already has a girlfriend but I don't know if we still have feelings for each other. How do I know if he doesn't or still have feelings for me? How do I give up on him? It hurts so much.

I can’t say anything about your situation but I can tell you that when I had a crush on someone, I knew I couldn’t ruin our friendship, so I told myself it ain’t possible and yeah it was fucking hard but in the end it was the best.
