I think being single is fine. If you haven't found someone who likes you and you like back then don't force it.
But if you really want to find someone because you want a companion, I'd say go out more. Take care of yourself and go out places to meet people. Join clubs or groups at school or at the community center and shit. You can't get a boyfrie......
