It's really not strange. Do you normally decide to have a crush on someone??? The impossibility of reciprocation is not a turn off for everyone. Like you could have a crush on a celebrity, but the fact that you could literally never be together doesn't stop you. Would you think it's weird if a gay person was attracted to a straight person?
