Are you sometimes embarrassed of what you read?

Hi, just wanna share this since I'm growing older and as time passes by I'm becoming more and more embarrassed by the things I read. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean the actual manhwa/mangas, I mean that I'm embarrassed that I constantly read just those particular genres... but I want to change the things and media that I consume just like those aesthetic booktoks and manga pinterest boards but I just can't help but read the things I've grown accustomed to. If I try new things I lose interest immediately if it doesn't pique my interest. What are your thoughts about this? Please go easg on me

Idk i have always been into the horror/action/adventure and rarely read yaoi/smut compared to it. U just figure out what u like and shit works out. U exploring urself and as u mature u will shift into other likes and dislikes. Habit is a hard thing to break , it will get easier with time lol reply
