Does anyone know something about the K.S comeback? Does anyone think it is FR a BL?
About the second question: I can understand how people and newbies will think it is a BL/Yaoi, but if we look into the words “Boys love” and look closely to the plot of Killing Stalking, where did they love each other? I am quite sure, Bum developed some Stockholm syndrome. Not even in the beginning, when he said himself, he liked Sangwoo, I think he was just attached to him; because he helped Bum in military. The reason Bum gets so easily attached to people who are kind to him, is due to his past with his uncle.
Sangwoo obviously NEVER had real romantic feelings for Yoon Bum, he obviously had the Oedipus complex/Mommy issues, so he took the opportunity to replace his dead mother, be it consciously or sun-consciously.
Summarising my thought, I think Killing.Stalking is a good psychological thriller, with a good storyline, but definitely NOT a BL, not even Yaoi.
Before someone says: “But they have sex with each other!” First of all: You don’t need feelings towards someone to have sex ( unless you are demisexual). Second of all: No one would say, “But they have sex together”, if it was about a straight couple.
Terms such as ROMANCE, psychological, slice of life, action etc. are what specifies the genre.... so you could argue that KS isn't ROMANCE but not that it isn't BL or Yaoi....
BL and Yaoi are just terms used to indicate that it's material about two male characters so that people will know... that's it!
Just like MM or MLM is used for books about ......
