Shoujo mangas really aren't the same as they were. We no longer get a cute story about a girl who wants to enter the beauty, movie, or fashion industry and she has to claw her way up surrounded by a group of guys and later falls in love with the main guy and battle it out with the antagonist who later becomes her best friend in all of this.
