Hateful novel reading experience

Ever have to dropped a novel with a good storyline? There are many novels I've read that I had to dropped because of some setting that irk me mostly simps MC and girls with no value except blushing when meeting MC.
Stories that could have stand on its own with just the action-fantasy have been ruined by unnecessary romantic subplots. It's like authors can't write a decent female supporting character that have a personality of it own and only exist to be pretty and fall for MC without any chemistry at all. Even without tagged romantic subplots most pretty female characters have ambiguous feeling towards MC. Fucking authors adding their dark delusional desires in a normal fantasy action novel than making an adult novel .
I'm glad that works like orv, trash of the count family,Third wheel strikes back and etc. exist. Any recommendation with fantasy-action (no blushing girls towards MC )novels? I want pure colleagues-family novels. （￣へ￣）
