Tbh bl "writers" are fetishizing porn artists, not actual writers. If they actually start focusing on the plot it might help. For tropes/rules that i would add is...having morals...the semes most of the time dont even consider that they have "raped" just like real rapists in the world...so yeah...they need to have basic social awareness about the l......   1 reply

Just have more character development, focus on the characters more, and focus on developing their relationships more. Sex shouldn't really be used as the be all and end all of all conflicts. Give more importance on consent.   reply

I read BARA as well and they don't look like they are trying to be realistic, tbh. Many queer writers mostly just want to have fun with the fiction that they write, the goal doesn't always mean having a 1:1 accurate representation of the queer experience.
