Short answer, yes. If the hymen is intact (it can sometimes tear due to accident or playing sports), forcing your fingers inside can result is a minor bleeding. Sometimes it takes multiple penetration for the hymen to be affected. It's normal and totally expected. Hymen should not be associated with virginity :)   reply

If you scratched yourself, then yes, but if the bleeding is more severe then it might be an cervical ectropion. So if it’s not an one-time thing it’s better to check it with the doctor.   reply

I guess it isn't abnormal, but if it bleeds, you might be a little bit too rough on your body. The hymen is pretty elastic so you need to take time to prep it well by adding one finger at the time. idk! there is no such thing as virginity cause it is a man made word and able to create stigmatism but if there is blood probably the hymen is broke which everyone said that is virginity but it is not true. Hymen can be broke just by riding a bicycle. Hymen is a thin piece tissue sorrounding the opening of vagina.   reply

I've done both ways, broke my hymen masturbating when I was 15 and when I was on birth control, Nuvaring, I developed a cervical ulcer that would bleed with rough masturbation and sex. I wouldn't say it's normal or common but it can happen and you'll be okay. :) If you're ever really worried about it don't be afraid to talk to your doctor about it!......   reply

if it was the first time yes, if its happened multiple times and only when you masturbate(like ur not on your period or anything) there might be a problem. check if ur nails are too long of make sure ur not wearing any rings that could've scratched you. and if the problem persists go to the doctor.   reply
