for me it’s amnesia trope. it needs to die immediately.
it feels like finding gum in hair with the way it surprises me bruh. bc how have we got there. where did it come from??
it’s even worse when it feels like the end of the story then BAM, he lost his memory.
even worse when they finish the whole story off with amnesia (i’m looking at you shadow hunters)
WHAT WAS THE REASON?? WHAT PURPOSE DOES IT HAVE????

ok i really hate it particularly in bl when its so obvs that the ml has shown so many red flags that the mc doesnt even bother to acknowledge it at least that its getting so annoying.. this was totally not a callout to cough cough zero day attack cough cough reply
