for me it’s amnesia trope. it needs to die immediately. it feels like finding gum in hair with the way it surprises me bruh. bc how have we got there. where did it come from?? it’s even worse when it feels like the end of the story then BAM, he lost his memory. even worse when they finish the whole story off with amnesia (i’m looking at you shadow hunters) WHAT WAS THE REASON??
