Do y’all have formal dances?
I live in the us and at my school we have homecoming (for all grades of high school, supposed to invite alumni back for it but it’s not really a followed tradition, however the football (not soccer) game is),
prom (for juniors and seniors [2nd to last and last year of high school] or younger people who have dates that are senior and juniors, and honestly the point is to party and enjoy yourself before graduation nothing else much)
and sadie hawkings (for all, and it’s where the girl asks the guy out but not religiously followed because date is synonymous with friend at a school dance, and it only happens every four years),
but Anyways i googled what other countries do for school dances and they said that’s an American thing I just can’t believe that other nations don’t want to party. Like, there is no way that only America and a few European countries have school dances, so I guess my question is what does your school and country do for dances or celebration?

Are there also people with the American flag in their porch? Lastly, do u also really have those rugby and basketball games where there's cheerleaders and bands that hav......

Like I wasn’t allowed to wear my docs & had to wear a fancy dress which was not my vibe at all. In retrospect I never enjoyed formals. I went to my first prom as a freshman and it sucked. Literally danced with this dude who was grinding......
