Do you think it's homophobic to like BL but not GL?
I'm not sure if I got gaslighted or what, but I had this convo with an internet friend, they were asking for a romance recommendation, and I did gave it to them, a GL story specifically.
Then like 5mins later they asked for something different because they didn't like the plot (?) Well I shrugged it of not thinking much, but since right now my interest lies in GL, I continued to recommend her some.
Then she straight up told me to recommend her other things that wasn't GL, and that got me confused cuz she read BL (that's how we even got close) that's why I thought she wouldn't have a problem with my recs and that she just didn't genuinely like the plot. So I'm not sure what to think.

I've met so many straight girls call themselves allies but the second anyone mentions queer women and female bodied people they get all uncomfortable and start saying the same shit your friend did, meaning in a lot of cases they really only 'support' (or fetishize in a lot of......
