Do people actually have diaries?

I tried, but I was too lazy, so I gave up on it. now i just tweet my thoughts/vents on twitter.    reply

I dooooo~ But it aint as long as how those dramas or movies do with their diary. It's like 2 sentences and just me shitting on myself on how stupid i did on that day. I mean, there isn't like a rule on how to do a diary, no? (⊙…⊙ )   reply

I used to write diaries religiously from grade two through five. I only stopped when my mom read the one I wrote in fifth when I was really ungrateful about my parents, about this girl I had a crush on (including really badly drawn images of us) and about my bullies. My mom really threw the part I was being bullied out the window.   reply

I used to have one, until my classmate took it and read it out loud in front of everyone. Also the reason why i cant open up to people i know but rather to strangers.   reply

Yes, I’ve been writing since 2016. It can be helpful for anxiety, processing emotions, recording memories and expressing creativity. For me the first 2 years were a non ending venting on people, then after emptying myself from all those negative past memories my diary is more like a record of my daily life.   reply
