i think it’s funny

i just think it’s funny how manwhas are more popular than mangas on this site. i remember when it used to be the opposite. especially with the romance genre, mangas like black bird, kami sama kiss, love so life, were always the ones on the front page even a couple of years ago. now it’s all isekai manwhas with the same plot devices. bl is super popular w women now and most of it is korean manwhas, i literally remember when “fujoshis” used to obsess over japanese mangas only. like pple made fun of korean webtoons/ manwha style as a cheap imitation of the japanese anime style of drawing.

this is just an observation, i read both styles and honestly just find it funny how things flipped.
