For academic achievers, I need your tips. I'm so fucking desperate right now. What are your strategies when procrastinating for big tests for the next day? Like I've seen people doodling while memorizing...
So, I have 2 long quizzes (both bioscience) tomorrow morning, with first one covering all the lessons for the preliminary exam. Mostly requiring memorization. I also have 4 pending activities to complete today and PE class from 5-7pm later. All these shits making it hard for me to focus on my study. I'm on medication too so I feel always sleepy recently, easily distracted and anxious. I don't think I'll be able to ace the test if I stick to my usual study strategies. I feel like shit right now. ☹
usually in these situations i just caffeinate myself at night and give up sleep… but if you’re not the kind of person that can survive quizzes without sleep then perhaps you should consider giving up the activities…
but wrt to the actual studying part: with this timeline don’t make notes or wtv. just actively read the sections you’re re...... 2 reply
As a professional procrastinator in college and somehow doing fine so far (add ADHD on top of that too) here’s what I would recommend (this is what works for me at least, in bioscience related stuff):
- make a checklist of stuff to study and resources to use, don’t need to do all of it but it gives you a good idea of what you can start with
