I can handle any art if the story is good. Maybe it comes from being a gamer too, playing plenty of old crappy visual games. There’s even that old meme about how you remember it v how it was. Same for stories, my imagination polishes the rough edges.
There is one, very notable exception. I remember I had to drop the manga by the tiny head yaoi......
