I connected the dots quite late actually...I did know it wasn't "normal" but at that point I had kinda just decided that i'd rather just not get with anyone for the rest of my life and just look up to them in a different light ig ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I didn't grow up around my parents that much and they never fully defined the concept of marriage to ......
