I think it’s no surprise that bl/ yaoi contains a lot of taboo or problematic themes, but why is incest so common. I don’t even mean step siblings but blood relations. Like I don’t see the appeal and why so many authors would choose incest to be part or the central theme of their stories.
Many BL authors are just batshit crazy. Rape, gang rape, torture porn, psychologically or/and physically abusive ML. I'm pretty sure we’ve all see many BL's with at least one of those elements. 1 reply
