I think it’s no surprise that bl/ yaoi contains a lot of taboo or problematic themes, but why is incest so common. I don’t even mean step siblings but blood relations. Like I don’t see the appeal and why so many authors would choose incest to be part or the central theme of their stories.
Just gotta make it problematic so that more people can have beef about it in the comments and the comic can gain clout from the drama, because, obviously, the plot itself is the copy-paste of all the popular BLs out there.
