I cringe when BL Man/ga/hwa portrays American characters, disclaimer I am not American, but I just feel like there's no way an American sees an average Asian dude with pale skin, dark hair, and thin as attractive when their beauty standard is Kim Kardashian. Sure, some American enjoy those aesthetics, but BL overdoes it to the point of embarrass......
