i'm a straight dude, so i do not find any appeal in men but shoujos that are targeted towards women, it's just cringe most of the time, same with shoujo targeted towards men, it's just mostly porn or harem. I can't give less of a shit abt is it men or women, BL just happens to have a wider range of tropes and plots while still being romance
