I have this new neighbor also a student at my uni who's really touchy, we're different sex, he's a really well educated and really nice guy but I don't like guys touching my shoulders it makes me feel disgusted. I don't want to hurt his feelings bc he's black so he may take it the wrong way and I want to stay good friends.
be honest with him. tell him nicely that you're not comfortable with people touching you. if he really wants to be friends he's gonna understand a simple request.. him being black has nothing to do with this whole thing. 1 reply
