i HATE when there’s slavery involved and the MC is like "oh no slavery is so bad and I hate the concept!" but then proceeds to participate in it by buying slaves.. the authors even writing in slavery as an ok concept is so strange to me

The way I could rant for YEARS abt this like. Why are the FLs (grown ass women) BUYING CHILDREN and GROOMING them to be the ml??? what
Or the MC buying (nearly always darkskin) ppl and 'TRAINING' them to be reliable servants. And the enslaved ppl are always grateful bc thr mc 'saw them for who they really are'
