top and bottom vs their names

Do yall actually remember the characters name or like me, you just refer to them by top and bottom? (For support/side characters, refer to them by physical or behavioral characteristics like hair color, or how they act). I could read a 100+ chapter story and still come out forgetting their names

When you read so many stories, remembering names can be a pain, I relate. I can identify them by uke (age) x seme (age) to help me find specific stories with character traits (eg helping someone find age gap stories with younger seme) but I would still try add names, eg Satome (seme, 29yo). no i just use "black haired guy" or "blonde guy" or "mc" and "ml" or even just memorize their names like a normal person because i don't refer to or remember people by what role they have during sex this is my honest reaction if i was a gay man and someone forgot my name and called me "guy who takes it up the ass": reply

I easily forget names so i reffer to them as MC and ML based on their pov. When i feel like it i go back in the previous chapters so that i can remember their names again lmao. I describe their apperances too, eg. glasses guy, red haired etc. reply

I could never bring myself to use "top" and "bottom," or "uke" and "seme," to address the characters. I just call them by their name. If I forgot their name, I'm gonna go back to the manga. I also use their hair color to refer to them. 2 reply

Imma be real, i don’t even read the speech and text bubbles like that, so if I’m ever talking about a character i usually refer to them by their role in the plot, like “bully girl” or “mc” 2 reply
