Depends on the severity of their actions, something like domestic violence, extreme emotional abuse, any sort of sexual abuse shouldn't be forgotten. There is nothing the ML can to do DESERVE forgiveness, he isnt obligated to have it and the victim will never be obligated to forgive. He cant erase past actions or make himself deserving of forgivene......
