What is it about BL that interests you so much that you read it more and rarely (or never) read GL?

Honestly, to actually get into my headspace as to why, is gonna be a lengthy explanation. I'm a pan and i like girls more than boys, but there are rarely any GL stories that make me feel things. Idk if it's because a lot of GL are written by men for men(?), but it just doesn't resonate with me. GL written by women though, they're usually good. Thou......   reply

I think there's less awareness to GL. I, personally, can only think of a few GLs I've read that became my favorite. I don't see anyone talking about GLs, I don't see any GLs when I'm looking through tags or through lists. Even then, my standards are higher for GLs, I wouldn't want to read some trash like the BL trash I consume, so it's hard to find......   reply
