Great question! judging by the other answers here this is a minority opinion, but I would choose no update. Here's why:
I totally get the desire for quick and dirty over slow and excellent, but I think readers should consider the value of the original creators' words as much as their drawings. Imagine if it wasn't the words that were being retrans......
