I avoid chinese manhua
Ok so please don’t attack me but like- am I the only one who sometimes avoids Chinese manhuas?
I remember a few years ago I used to read EVERYTHING put under my nose and that ended up being a lot of Chinese manhuas. It was repetitive in almost every genre.
(Also is it just me but like the art is very recognizable? Like they almost always have very similar arts???)
Shounen Ai: Slow burn into oblivion, censored kisses, sometimes really toxic shit but they get back tgt
(IM LOOKING AT YOU BLACK LOTUS)…
Romance: genderbend (fiou I’m not gay cause they’re actually a girl), DRUGGED ONE NIGHT STAND THAT ENDS UP WITH A KID AND WHEN THE FL COMES BACK TO THE COUNTRY THE KID MEETS THE CEO AND CEO FORCES GIRL
…, green tea bitch, awful step mother and siblings
Action: Harem (honestly I kinda just don’t touch them for that one reason)
Obviously there are exceptions like: here u are, 19 days, heavens official blessing (and all the others from that author)
Its just that when I see the stereotypical Chinese manhua style I tend to go for something else unless people say it’s good and it’s recommended
i hate them. they all have the same stockholm plots and art style. shes always getting assaulted by some billionaire who she apparently knew since they were kids and she lost her memories bc of an accident. they always have racist/colorist undertones. and her step siblings who she loved plot against her constantly but they cant be bad right? FL is ......
